Telexis, developers of PHONEslips, announces the release of version
10*. This latest version has improvements to all areas of the
product and several completely new features. In addition, the
software maintains the same look and functionality of older
versions, making it easy for staff to use it right away

PHONEslips Note Board
Look around your desk, do you still have one of
those sticky-note pads? Well not for long. A new
feature in PHONEslips provides a digital version of
the old sticky-note pad that can eliminate that
paper from your desk.
This
new feature lets you quickly create notes that look
just like the paper versions and save them to a note
board. If you’re on the phone and need to jot
something down, it’s a fast convenient place to keep
information in view, but without cluttering your
desk |

You
can create as many note boards as you want and
decide who has access to them. Create a private
board to store web site addresses, login names, or
any other information. Create shared note boards to
keep notes regarding a current project so all
members of the team can see them. |

Cabinet Interface
This
improved interface lets you control where information panes
show up - group areas together or give each area its own
information pane, it's your choice. New tooltips allow you
to see data just by clicking on the item. Thumbnail view in
the Files area allows you to see a small preview of files
without opening them. |
Client/Server
Mode
Now you can run PHONEslips using Client/Server technology.
This new technology gives your office increased security and
reliability and reduces administrative costs. This new
optional installation of PHONEslips, allows each workstation
to access the PHONEslips database over your network without
the need to share the PHONEslips data directory directly.
Since only PHONEslips can access the data in this setup,
users or viruses running on workstations are blocked from
accessing important PHONEslips files directly, which
minimizes the possibility of corruption or unauthorized data
access.
Document
Management

PHONEslips 10 ships with its own print driver, which
lets you print from any application directly into
PHONEslips for document archival

scanner support lets you scan directly into PHONEslips

documents are stored in PHONEslips, you can quickly do
full text searches of them using advanced optical
